The PlayStation Plus Collection will let you play top rated PS4 games on your PS5

During the recent PlayStation 5 showcase, Sony announced the PlayStation Plus Collection, which is a special new offering for subscribers on the PlayStation 5.

According to the PlayStation Blog, “PS5 owners with PS Plus will be able to download and play a curated library of PS4 games that defined the generation, like Batman Arkham Knight, Bloodborne, Fallout 4, God of War, Monster Hunter: World, Persona 5 and many more.”

This will be an added benefit for current PS Plus subscribers and will not cost extra.

The list of games available on launch will be the following:

  • God of War
  • Final Fantasy XV
  • Bloodborne
  • The Last of Us Remastered
  • Days Gone
  • Persona 5
  • Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
  • Ratchet & Clank
  • Until Dawn
  • Infamous: Second Son
  • The Last Guardian
  • Resident Evil 7
  • Detroit: Become Human
  • Monster Hunter World
  • Batman: Arkham Knight
  • Battlefield 1
  • Mortal Kombat X
  • Fallout 4

To be clear, this won’t be a streaming service, as you’ll be able to download the games directly on your PlayStation 5.
