Shadow of the Tomb Raider stealthily adds PS5 4K 60fps enhancement

Over the weekend, Shadow of the Tomb Raider got some much needed enhancements for the PlayStation 5, giving it a solid performance boost.

On the PlayStation 5, the game now runs at 4K 60fps due to its latest 2.01 update, which reads “Support for 4K at high frame-rate on PlayStation 5 in high resolution mode.” No official announcement has been made as of yet for this update.

For the Xbox, the game now sports the “Optimized for Series X|S” tag, but the exact upgrades are yet to be known. Shadow of the Tomb Raider is already the recipient of an FPS Boost for the Xbox Series, so it would be interesting to see what other upgrades this will bring.

In case you haven’t played the game yet, now would certainly be the best time to do so, as Shadow of the Tomb Raider closes the trilogy of games for Lara Croft in great fashion.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider was actually one of the PS Plus free titles back in January, so you should have gotten it already if you’ve been subscribed to the service.
