Konami has announced that the remake of Silent Hill 2, developed by Bloober Team, is coming to the PS5 and PC and is now available to wishlist.

Announced during the recently concluded “Transmission” livestream, the Silent Hill 2 remake looks to be a full-blown remake that will include members of the original team, Team Silent, specifically Masahiro Ito. The game is also said to be a timed console exclusive for the PS5, but no details have been announced yet regarding its release date.

Multiple rumors about a new Silent Hill game have been floating around for quite some time now, and it seems the rumors are indeed real. While there are indeed multiple projects, this remake is the biggest one announced, making a comeback for modern systems after 21 years.

Bloober Team is known for its work on titles such as Layers of Fear and The Medium.
