Multiple Silent Hill Projects Officially Announced by Konami

During the recently concluded Silent Hill Transmission Broadcast earlier today, Konami announced multiple ongoing projects for the acclaimed horror franchise – Silent Hill: Townfall, Silent Hill f, Silent Hill Ascension, and Return to Silent Hill.

Townfall is a co-production with renowned publisher Annapurna Interactive (Stray, Outer Wilds, Neon White) and multiple BAFTA award-winning independent developer No Code Studios (Stories Untold, Observation).

This partnership represents how incredible studios around the world will be able to offer a new perspective on the iconic franchise. More details about the project will be revealed in the future.

Silent Hill f is a completely new story set in 1960’s Japan featuring a beautiful, yet horrifying world. Written by Ryuunishi 07, famed for Japanese visual novels dealing with murder mysteries, psychological and supernatural horror.

More details will be shared about the project in the future.

Ascension is a collaboration between Genvid Entertainment, Bad Robot Games, Behaviour Interactive and dj2 Entertainment that aims to immerse participants around the globe in the psychological horror in a unique way – by putting an all-new story and characters into the hands of the audience as the narrative unfolds, live on multiple platforms.

Christophe Gans, the horror-film director who recently spilled the existence of these projects, will be charged with a new movie adaption in the franchise.

More information about the film will be revealed at a later date.

In other news, a remake of the second game was also officially announced and will be released for the PS5 and PC.
