Following the much anticipated Starfield announcement, another Xbox exclusive we’re excited for — S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 shows its first full gameplay reveal on the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase. 2021 was full of sparse snippets of said title filled with game dev announcements and out of context reveals. However, for the first time, we’ve received a deep dive of how this first person gameplay would play out and as expected, it is impressive.
Featuring 4K Ray tracing and explosive first person shooter action, there’s much to be explored in the desolate wastes of Pripyat either fighting against other insurgents and creatures. What really captured my attention was the existence of the anomaly, which you could measure with a makeshift “geiger counter”. We’re expecting great things when this game launches on April 28, 2022.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is exclusive on the Xbox Series and will launch Day One on the Game Pass on April 28, 2022.
