Want a free copy of Grand Theft Auto 5? Check out the Epic Games Store tonight
After the jaw dropping tech demo which saw a stunning piece of work run on a PlayStation 5, Epic Games is on the headlines again.
In a now deleted Tweet from Epic Games themselves, it looks like Grand Theft Auto 5 could be the next free game from the Epic Games Store. Outfits like Comicbook, Inverse, and GamePressure have all reported on the same thing, bringing a semblance of truth to the whole issue.
If there’s anything the Internet is good at, it’s reporting earthquakes and taking screenshots for evidence. Someone did just that before the tweet was deleted, which you can see below:
If indeed the rumors are true and Epic does not pull off a last minute change, you can expect the free game to go live at 11PM tonight, Philippine time, and will run for a week until May 21.
