Most possibly due to another leak coming from the Microsoft store, EA has now formally announced the new Star Wars game entitled Star Wars Squadrons, probably being the “project maverick” that people have been talking about for quite some time now.
As announced by the official EA Star Wars Twitter account, there will be a reveal trailer scheduled on June 15:
According to VentureBeat, the game will feature a fairly short single player campaign as it will focus mostly on multiplayer gameplay, possibly in the same vein as Battlefront II.
