Ahh Grand Theft Auto V, the game that has literally spanned 3 generations of consoles, is back and bigger than ever as it comes to the PlayStation 5 in 2021.

Grand Theft Auto V was actually the first game to be unveiled during the PlayStation 5 event and you can check out the announcement trailer below:

Dubbed as “expanded and enhanced”, the next generation iteration of GTAV will feature a “range of technical improvements, visual upgrades and performance enhancements to take full advantage of the latest hardware, making the game more beautiful and more responsive than ever.” as per a press release from Rockstar.

A new standalone version of Grand Theft Auto online is scheduled to release in the second half of 2021 and this will be free for PlayStation 5 owners for the first 3 months. On top of that, all PlayStation 4 PS Plus subscribers will get $1,000,000 (deposited into their in-game Maze Bank account within 72 hours of log-in) each month they play GTA Online until the launch of GTA Online on PlayStation 5.
