PlayStation 5 Retail Boxes revealed
Following a showcase that saw new updates on games and a retail price (finally) on both the console and accessories, the PlayStation 5 retails boxes have been revealed as well.
Coming from a post by Twitter user Cheap Ass Gamer (heh), the retail packaging for the PlayStation 5 is different for the Standard and Digital Editions, with the mostly white box for the Standard and a sleek black box for the Digital. These boxes are also reflected on the Amazon pre-order pages as well.
They’re looking pretty clean, and in fact, also looking quite similar to the Xbox Series packaging as well, only with the colors reversed.
Both editions feature the same hardware and specs, with the only difference being the lack of a disc drive on the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition.
The PlayStation 5 will be priced at $499 (around PHP25,000) for the Standard Edition and $399 around PHP20,000) for the Digital Edition. Both editions will release on November 12 in selected territories (US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and South Korea) and November 19 worldwide.
