Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered releases in November, cross-play confirmed

Despite multiple leaks over the past few days, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered is now official and will launch on November 6 across major consoles like the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, with a Switch version to follow on November 13.

The reveal for Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered was made through an announcement by EA, and taking the development helm is Criterion Games, in partnership with Stellar Entertainment.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered will not only have enhanced visuals but will also include all the main DLC, including “the SCPD Rebel Racer Pack, Super Sports Pack, Armed & Dangerous Pack, Lamborghini Untamed Pack, and Porsche Unleashed Pack” which is said to feature over 6 hours of additional content. Additionally, a full list of cars can be seen HERE and it includes the Aston Martin V12 Vantage, Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport, Koenigsegg Agera, and much much more.

Cross-play multiplayer is also one of the highlights of this release where players can take to the track in asynchronous races through the Autolog system. A full fledged single-player career is also present for all you solo racers out there.

PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X players will be able to enjoy the game at either 4K/30 FPS or 1080p/60 FPS, with 1080p/30 FPS for base models. Nintendo Switch version will run at 1080p/30 FPS while docked and 720p/30 FPS undocked.
