There are quite a few games everyone would like a remaster or a remake of, and while everybody has their own preferences, one game that is probably in the list of many is Chrono Trigger. The classic SNES RPG from 1995 is widely considered to be one of the best out there, with a combination of great gameplay elements along with a fantastic storyline and memorable characters.

Speaking of memorable characters, Sony Santa Monica and God of War Art Director Rafael Grassetti took a stab at what he calls one of his favorite franchises and recreates Crono, Frog, and Robo in stunning fashion, making us wonder what a next-gen remake of Chrono Trigger would look like.

As you can see, it looks fantastic, seeing these timeless characters with such detail that even Akira Toriyama would be proud of. I would personally want him to continue and see how he fares with Marle and Lucca, but this set is enough to make a Chrono Trigger fan hopeful. Final Fantasy VII did get a remake, right?
