Crash Bandicoot 4 gets a Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Xbox Series launch on March 12

I guess the tagline “It’s about time” is finally accurate this time around, as Crash Bandicoot is finally making its way to the Nintendo Switch, alongside the next-gen versions, on March 12.

Announced on the Activision Blog, the latest installment in the Crash Bandicoot series make its next-gen appearance, bringing with it “enhanced 4K resolution, faster loading times, and more”. Specifically, PS5 and Xbox Series X will enjoy the game at native 4K 60fps, with the Series S upscaling to 4K. All this will come as a free upgrade to owners of the base game on the last-gen consoles.

The PS5 version, in particular, will receive DualSense upgrades that will make use of the adaptive triggers, as well as support activity cards.

Our review of Crash Bandicoot 4 calls it a “wumpin’ good time”, and while it is as good as a Crash game can get, it is also quite the challenge!

The PS5 and Xbox Series versions are set to retail for $59.99 (around PHP3,000) and the Nintendo Switch version will retail for $39.99 (around PHP2,000).

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is now available for the PlayStation 4 and XBox One.
