Henry Cavill may have just teased a Mass Effect related project
After his stint with The Witcher, Henry Cavill has taken to Instagram to tease a “secret project”, and it seems to be something Mass Effect related. A live-action adaptation movie? a series?
You can check out the said image below:
How is this a “Mass Effect” related thing, you ask? Well you’ll see Henry Cavill holding a paper with “random words” but it doesn’t seem so random at all to the trained eye.
The folks at Gamepressure have done some magic on the said image and it seems that these random words are actually terms from Mass Effect. Check it out below:
Even without un-blurring the photo, you can make out the likes of “Cerberus” and “Geth” but some further digging suggests that the excerpt is actually something from the Mass Effect 3 entry in Wikipedia:
Following the events on Tuchanka and a failed coup by Cerberus to take over the Citadel, the quarians offer their support to the Alliance if Shepard helps them reclaim their homeworld, Rannoch, from the geth. Assisted by a quarian, either Tali’Zorah or Admiral Daro’Xen, Shepard boards a geth dreadnought and rescues a captive geth unit, either Legion or a facsimile occupied by a geth virtual intelligence (VI), then disables the Reaper control signal over the geth.
Henry Cavill has been known to be a geek among geeks, even building a PC by himself at some point, so he could just be getting excited over the Mass Effect Legendary Edition coming in a few months? Or it could totally be a series or a movie, in which case we are totally down for it.
Whatever the case may be, Cavill as Shepard (or any character for that matter) in a Mass Effect setting would be hella cool.
