Dying Light 2 developer update announced for March 17
Debunking reports of Dying Light 2 being in development hell, developer Techland announces an update for March 17, adding to next week’s presentations including Square Enix Presents on March 18. After being delayed indefinitely last year, this is the first time we’ll be hearing from the game according to their Twitter announcement.
On the same feed, a concerned fan raises questions about the game’s recent condition as a slew of indefinite delays and cancellations have hit anticipated titles from last month, including Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 and Anthem respectively. A representative from Techland assures the fan that “while [Dying Light 2] keeps moving forward, we announced the game too early, but it’s far from development hell.“
We can speculate all we want, but let’s hear it from the horse’s mouth on March 17 on their Discord channel.
Dying Light 2 has been previously announced for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
