During the recently concluded Resident Evil Showcase, Capcom have announced that a new Resident Evil Village demo will be making its way to players starting this weekend. It’s a pretty complicated setup, but we’re here to simplify everything for you.

There will be 3 demos in total that fans of the game will be able to enjoy, with the first one actually happening this weekend. PlayStation users will get first dibs on these demos, with the last one being a full release on all platforms. Demo 1 and Demo 2 will only be playable for 30 minutes, while Demo 3 will be playable for 1 hour.

Here’s the schedule of the demos:

Resident Evil Village Demo 1 – “Village” (PS4 / PS5)

• North America: April 17, 5 PM PT – April 18, 1 AM PT
• Europe: April 18, 7 PM CEST – April 19, 3 AM CEST
• Asia: April 18, 5 PM HKT – April 19, 1 AM HKT

Resident Evil Village Demo 2 – “Castle” (PS4 / PS5)

• North America: April 24, 5 PM PT – April 25, 1 AM PT
• Europe: April 25, 7 PM CEST – April 26, 3 AM CEST
• Asia: April 25, 5 PM HKT – April 26, 1 AM HKT

Resident Evil Village Demo 3 – All Platforms

• North America: May 1, 5 PM PT – May 2, 5 PM PT
• Europe: May 2, 2 AM CEST – May 3, 2 AM CEST
• Asia: May 2, 8 AM HKT – May 3, 8 AM HKT

The first demo, “Maiden”, was released early this year, and while that was more of a technical showcase, these new demos look to offer a deeper look into the game.

Resident Evil Village launches on May 7, 2021 on the PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
