First revealed over one year ago, this isometric action RPG published by Curve Digital entitled The Ascent now has a release date scheduled for July 29, 2021 for the Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC. The game will also be a day one Game Pass title, which lets subscribers play the game for free as long as they’re subscribed to the service.

The Ascent is looking pretty good, and all this is surprising because of the 11-man team from developers Neon Giant, comprised of industry veterans that have worked on such classics as Gears of War and Wolfenstein.

The Ascent will feature player customization and 4 player coop, all while targeting 4K 60fps on the Xbox Series X.
