Sega has just released the intro trailer for Giyu Tomioka from Versus Mode of Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles and he is voiced by none other than Takahiro Sakurai, who reprises his role from the anime into the upcoming game.

Tomioka is the Water Hashira who led Tanjiro towards joining the Corps. He fights using his “Water Breathing” in Versus Mode, which featured trademark moves such as Striking Tide and Dead Calm.

He will join previously announced characters like Tanjiro, Nezuko, Inosuke, and Zenitsu.

Demon Slayer will be making its way to Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea and Southeast Asia on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC. No release date has been announced just yet.
