Following the Okami / Amaterasu Capcom Collab, Monster Hunter Rise is now bringing in a brand new collab with none other than Akuma from Street Fighter.

Announced by Capcom, Akuma is ready to Messatsu his way into Monster Hunter Rise on August 27 as a layered armor event quest reward that lets you punch monsters in the face like the boss that Akuma is.

Based on Okami and Street Fighter, it seems that we should look forward to rather unexpected collabs coming, and later this year we’ll be getting Collab 4 and 5 which is sure to surprise once again.

Monster Hunter Rise is now available for the Nintendo Switch.
