Cyberpunk 2077 Possibly Getting Its Next-Gen Upgrade Soon
It’s been a while since we last heard about Cyberpunk 2077, with one of its last updates supposedly putting the next-gen upgrades sometime in Q1 2022. CDPR might be preparing an announcement soon, as some information has already been seen by PlayStation server scraper PlayStation Game Size.
Information from PlayStation Game Size is mostly reliable, and in their latest post, it seems that they’ve found a tiny tidbit of information about the game, mainly showing what could be the new cover art to be used for the next-gen version.
The account further clarifies that it may be coming in the next month or so and that it will indeed be the PS5 native version.
Of course, since this is not an official announcement by CD Projekt Red, we shouldn’t take this as an official update but things may be looking up for those waiting.

Soon, more information will start to pop up, including the full download size of the next-gen version along with pre-load dates, as is the usual information being shared by this account. With this being the case, we hope to see something from CDPR sooner rather than later.
Have you held off on playing Cyberpunk 2077 until its next-gen version comes along?
