Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Gets A June 2022 Release Date
Capcom has announced that the highly-anticipated Sunbreak expansion for Monster Hunter Rise will be coming to the Nintendo Switch and PC on June 30, 2022.
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Details
The news was announced during a special Monster Hunter livestream presentation, and will include highlights such as a new locale, new monsters, and improved gameplay mechanics. The standard version of the game will retail for $39.99 (around PHP2,000) and a deluxe edition, which will include new layered armor sets and other bonuses like gestures and hairstyles, will retail for $49.99 (around PHP2,500).
The expansion is expected to take up around 13 GB of storage, and Capcom has advised players to clear some space before attempting to download the update.
Sunbreak Amiibo Details
New amiibos were also announced and will feature the “Canyne Malzeno” Palamute, Malzeno, and the “Felyne Malzeno” Palico. You can unlock the “Formal Dragon” layered armor when using the amiibos.
Sunbreak Collectors Edition
A collector’s edition was also announced and will include the following:
- Steelbook
- Sticker Pack
- Elgado Mark – Enamel Pin
- Malzeno Amiibo
- Deluxe Edition of the game (+ Download voucher for the expansion)
