Sony Reveals Extensive God of War Ragnarok Accessibility Features
As part of Global Accessibility Awareness Day, Sony has revealed an impressive suite of accessibility features and options that will be added to God of War Ragnarok when it is released.
As posted on the PlayStation Blog, Santa Monica Studio Lead UX Designer Mila Pavlin explains that the accessibility features from God of War 2018 have been retained and expanded, now giving players over 60 ways to customize and adjust their gameplay experience to suit their needs.
Some of the accessibility features from the 2018 game that will carry over to Ragnarok include auto sprint, an always-on reticle, hold or toggle aim styles, hold or toggle block styles.
New to God of War Ragnarok will be the option to improve subtitles and captions, allowing players options like subtitle color, speaker color, direction indicators, and much more.
Text and icon sizes will be improved as well since it was a highly requested feature from the 2018 version of the game.
Other options will include a fully rebuilt controller remapping system, a high contrast mode, navigation assists, traversal assistance, audio cues, and much more.

Similar to The Last of Us Part II, which was lauded for its impressive suite of accessibility options, Santa Monica Studios is ensuring that God of War Ragnarok will be a game that will be widely enjoyed by a lot of players when it comes out, making it the most accessible God of War game ever.
