During a special presentation celebrating 10 years of the title, Capcom announced and confirmed that Dragon’s Dogma II is currently in development using the RE Engine, as revealed by Hideaki Itsuno himself.

Fans of the first game have been wanting and wishing for the next installment for quite a while now, and while at times it almost seemed like Capcom forgot about it, fans can now breathe a sigh of relief as the cult classic from 2012 will finally make a comeback.

Apart from a logo, no other information such as release date or platforms were announced, so we’ll have to wait a bit until Capcom is ready to show us more about the upcoming title.
