E3 Returns in 2023, Produced by Organizers of PAX and NYCC
E3 is making its long-awaited return with an in-person event in the second week of June 2023 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
The ESA is partnering with ReedPop, an event production team that organizes some of the most well-known events like PAX and New York Comic Con. Both companies are aiming to revitalize the show, which hasn’t seen the light of day since 2019, by welcoming back publishers, developers, content creators, and much more.
As early as now, both ESA and ReedPop are promising to “reunite the global video game industry for a week of titanic AAA reveals, earth-shaking world premieres, and exclusive access to the future of video games,” which sounds like a tall task considering how much success the industry has seen with the online events from the previous years like Summer Game Fest.
Kyle Marsden-Kish, ReedPop Global VP of Gaming who will lead the newly formed E3 team along with his global gaming live event responsibilities added, “For years, we’ve listened, heard, and studied the global gaming community’s feedback. E3 2023 will be recognizably epic—a return to form that honors what’s always worked—while reshaping what didn’t and setting a new benchmark for video game expos in 2023 and beyond.”
E3 2023 is scheduled in the second week of June 2023 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
