Scenes From The Last of Us Part I Remake Have Seemingly Leaked
First-time players of the Naughty Dog classic will want to watch out as new scenes and spoilers have leaked from the upcoming The Last of Us Part I.
According to a post on ResetEra, these leaked images were posted on Reddit before they were taken down. The images shown were simple comparisons similar to what Naughty Dog has shown us before, just depicting different scenes.
The leaker went on to say a couple of more things about The Last of Us Part I Remake, such as there being no gameplay improvements and that the improvements for this remake was more on the animations and audio parts of the game. The leaker also says that the game will support VRR, 4K40 FPS (Gameplay Mode) & 4K60Fps (Dynamic Mode).
The clincher here is that the leak also contained footage of the heart-wrenching intro with Joel and Sarah, which is major spoiler territory for players diving into the game for the first time.
Of course, we won’t be posting any images or scenes directly here, so you can just see them via the link above. Spoilers abound, so don’t say we didn’t warn you!
As with these leaks, it’s best to take them with a grain of salt since they’re not official and would be very spoiler-filled for first-time players. That said, those wanting to repeat the adventures of Joel and Ellie can look forward to a graphically amazing time. The game has gone gold and is ready for its launch date.
The Last of Us Part I is scheduled to release for the PS5 on September 2, 2022 and on PC at a later date.
