EA and Marvel Entertainment have announced a collaboration that will bring a new cast of FIFA Ultimate Team Heroes inspired by Marvel Comics to FIFA 23.

Fan favorite players will be reimagined by the amazing artists at Marvel, with each FIFA World Cup Hero receiving a special illustrated card when the World Cup mode of the game is launched while base versions of FUT Heroes will be made available at the launch of FIFA 23.

The collaboration will include other vanity items including tifos, kits, balls, and more.

The announced athletes so far are as follows:

• Yaya Toure
• Park Ji-Sung
• Landon Donovan
• Ricardo Carvalho
• Claudio Marchisio

For the true Football fan, limited physical quantities of a forthcoming online Marvel Heroes comic book alongside Marvel-written bios will be made available at a later time.

FIFA 23 is scheduled to release on September 30, 2022 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC.
