SEGA has announced that Sonic Frontiers is coming on November 8, 2022 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC via Steam.

This comes just after an “accidental” reveal, where a Japanese advert showed the release date ahead of the official announcement. A new trailer was also unveiled during Gamescom Opening Night Live, which gives us a look at the enemies and the world that Sonic will be exploring.

Players who pre-order their copy of the game will receive an Adventurers’ Treasure Box, a DLC pack containing items that will strengthen Sonic’s abilities and aid you in their adventure. A Deluxe version of the game will also be available, containing the base game, a Seekers’ Treasure Chest, and a Digital Art Book & Digital Soundtrack.

The game will be available in both physical and digital formats, with the Xbox and PC versions only available digitally.
