Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Expansion Coming in 2023
CD Projekt Red has announced that Cyberpunk 2077 will be getting its first expansion entitled “Phantom Liberty” in 2023 for the PS5, Xbox Series, PC, and Stadia.
The expansion will see the return of Keanu Reeves to reprise his role as Johnny Silverhand, along with a new set of characters along with a new location to explore.
The teaser trailer also reveals that the expansion will be leaving the previous-gen consoles behind, with only the PS5, Xbox Series, PC, and Stadia getting it when it comes out next year.
CDPR also shared details about patch 1.6, also known as the Edgerunner Update, which is coming today (yes, today!) and will include a ton of content, but most notably, an Edgerunner tie-up, which will see some weapons and armor from the show make their way to the game.
Additionally, patch 1.6 also comes with highly requested features such as transmog, cross-platform progressions, and much more.
CDPR notes that the Cyberpunk 2077 1.6 patch will be the last update that will be supported by the previous-gen consoles. The full patch notes can be seen HERE.
Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PC, and Stadia.
