After starting the year with a slew of great titles and surprise drops, the February 2023 Game Releases follow suit, bringing with them new titles from some of the biggest AAA studios.

Out of the bumper crop of titles that we’re getting this month, there are indeed some notable ones such as Hogwarts Legacy, Atomic Heart, and Koei Tecmo’s foray into the hunting genre, Wild Hearts. We’re also getting the much-awaited re-master of Like A Dragon: Ishin! and as a Yakuza fan, I’m excited!

The PSVR2 drops on February 22, which adds a new dimension to the landscape of VR gaming, and our February 2023 Game Releases will not be complete without even mentioning the launch of this new peripheral. With it comes a new slate of titles, spearheaded by Horizon: Call of The Mountain.

Like a Dragon: Ishin!

When we tried it out in TGS 2022, it proved to be a promising remake of the previously unreleased Like a Dragon spin-off outside Japan. I look forward to seeing how Kiryu and friends take on the samurai genre and bring the open-world charm that graced Like A Dragon to new heights as part of the February 2023 Game Releases.

Pick of the Month 2: Atomic Heart
