Bandai Namco Entertainment and FromSoftware have announced that an Elden Ring expansion, entitled “Shadow of the Erdtree,” is currently in development.

While no release date or other details were announced, the companies have teased the upcoming expansion, inviting players to “walk a new path together” and to “look forward to new adventures in the Lands Between.”

Just recently, the game has sold over 20 million units worldwide, capping off a phenomenal year that saw it win Game of the Year during The Game Awards.

Just last December, the game launched its free Colosseum update, adding an arena that allows players to engage in duels, free-for-alls, and team fights.

Elden Ring is now available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
