Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia and Arc System Works have announced that Asuka R♯ is joining the Guilty Gear Strive roster on May 25, 2023.

Asuka R♯ is a highly technical character, wielding 26 types of Spells with a range of effects useful for different battle situations. His inclusion also comes with an additional battle stage, Tír na nÓg, which is home to a space colony created by humankind to survive in outer space.

Alongside this announcement, two new additional color packs have been revealed – the Guilty Gear 25th Anniversary Appreciation Color and the Guilty Gear 25th Anniversary Colours.

The appreciation color will be available to download for free starting on May 25, 2023, and will unlock one additional color for a total of 24 characters, including the 15 characters in the initial roster and the 9 additional characters from Season Pass 1 and 2.

On the other hand, the Anniversary colors unlock 2 additional colors for a total of 24 characters, including the 15 characters in the initial roster and the 9 additional characters from Season Pass 1 and 2 (a total of 48 colors).

Guilty Gear Strive is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
