Bungie has announced that Destiny 2′s Season of the Wish is now available. It is the last season before the launch of The Final Shape expansion, which is now scheduled to launch on June 4, 2024.

This latest season will deliver exciting weekly story missions, the new Riven’s Lair activity, the rollout of Bungie’s new Fireteam Finder feature, the return of The Citadel map in the Crucible, an all-new dungeon, and more.

Destiny 2’s Season of the Wish continues with the current story, following the discovery of a hidden Ahamkara egg which will be used to bargain with the wish dragon, Riven. Queen Mara Sov hopes to use this to her advantage, creating a final pathway into the Traveler to confront the Witness.

November 30 will see the first step in the Fireteam Finder beta test, which will provide players with a means to easily find other Guardians to play group-based content with, such as raids, dungeons, Seasonal activities, Crucible matches, strikes, and more.

On December 1 at 9 AM PT, Warlord’s Ruin, the second dungeon in the year of Lightfall, will be released for players to discover. For those up for the challenge, the dungeon will be available to owners of Lightfall + Annual Pass or the Lightfall Dungeon Key.

The second half of Season of the Wish will see the release of a two-month content update called Destiny 2: Into the Light and will be available to all players.

Additionally, the Destiny 2 and CD Projekt Red Collaboration is now live, and will see Guardians collect new armor ornaments styled around the famed Geralt of Rivia, alongside a new Ghost, ship, Sparrow, emote, and finisher.

December 12 will see the return of The Dawning, where Eva Levante will task Guardians to bake delicious treats to hand out to the Vanguard and other beloved characters for cozy winter celebrations.
