Grand Theft Auto VI Launching Only on PS5 and Xbox Series, No PC Release Just Yet
Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto VI is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series, with no sign of a PS4, Xbox One, and PC release.
This is according to a press release from Take 2, only specifying the PS5 and Xbox Series as release platforms for the game: “is coming to PlayStation 5 computer entertainment systems and Xbox Series X|S games and entertainment systems in 2025.”
Rockstar Games Founder Sam Houser says that the game will “…push the limits of what’s possible in highly immersive, story-driven open-world experiences. We’re thrilled to be able to share this new vision with players everywhere.”
It seems this time around, the company is fully embracing the current-gen consoles and not compromising on vision and quality with a last-gen release. It remains to be seen when the PC release will be scheduled and even if the game will come to the next Nintendo console as well.
