Sony has announced that the new PS5 Slim is scheduled to be released in the Philippines starting on March 27, 2024, for a suggested retail price (SRP) of PHP 30,790.

Sony’s latest iteration greatly reduces the size and weight of the console, boasting a 30% reduction in volume, as well as an 18% and 24% weight reduction compared to its predecessor. It will also feature four separate cover panels, an improved 1TB of storage, and a detachable Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive.

Sony is also introducing a new Vertical Stand that is compatible with all PS5 models. This stand will be available for purchase separately for PHP 1,690.

Additionally, starting on March 27th, a new range of PS5 Console Cover colors will be available for the PS5 Slim. The Deep Earth Collection includes striking shades such as Volcanic Red, Cobalt Blue, and Sterling Silver, with prices starting at PHP 3,290.
