Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II Will Run at 30 FPS and Dynamic Resolution on Xbox Series
Highly-anticipated Xbox console exclusive Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is said to run at 30 FPS and dynamic resolution on Xbox Series consoles when it launches on May 21, 2024.
This information is according to GamePro, who spoke to visual effects director Mark Slater-Tunstill, saying that the game will run at 30 FPS because they decided to make the experience more “cinematic.” Given its slow and weighty gameplay, running at 30 FPS may not be too big of an issue, but it would have been nice to provide a choice between fidelity or performance mode.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is also releasing on PC, and if players have a capable enough rig to play the game at 60 FPS, then they could instead choose that option for a smoother gameplay experience.
The game is visually stunning, and according to the many previews that dropped today, the game is looking to be a true next-gen showcase that will take advantage of the power of the Xbox Series X.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is scheduled to launch on May 21, 2024, on Xbox Series and PC.
