SEGA has released a special trailer for Sonic X Shadow Generations: Dark Beginnings, an animated prologue leading up to the events of the upcoming game.

The animated trailer features Shadow on a quest to uncover the truth as he relives the events of his past, including the tragic loss that changed him.

Interested players who pick up the PS4 or PS5 version of the game will be able to watch an extended version of the animated prologue, which will be available as DLC at a later date.

Sonic x Shadow Generations launches on October 25, 2024 on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
