Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is coming, or so it seems if an ESRB rating is something to go by.

According to the ESRB rating, the game will be available on PS5 and PC. A PC version of the base game is already available with improved performance despite reused PS4 assets, so this seems to be a totally new release for both platforms.

If The Last of Us Remastered is anything to go by, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered will feature visual standards that would bring it in line with Horizon Forbidden West, mainly updated character models and animations.

According to a 2022 report, the remaster will “add accessibility features, graphics modes and quality of life improvements to the gameplay itself.”

Currently, no specific release date has been announced for this remaster, but with the launch of the PS5 Pro, it could be one title that could take advantage of the power of the new console.
