SEGA has announced Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, a brand-new addition to the beloved series of racing titles featuring Sonic and the gang.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Closed Network Test

A closed network test on PS5 is also happening, and interested participants can sign up at the official website.

The closed network test aims to check the game’s online functionality and identify any issues. It also offers players a chance to get early access to the online World Match mode.

Travel Rings
The largest feature in the game is the introduction of Travel Rings. These portals transport players from one world into a CrossWorld, completely shaking up each race!

Dynamic Courses
Races consist of 3 laps, each with their own unique twists! After completing the first lap, pass through the Travel Ring and burst into a CrossWorld. This transforms the second lap and comes with other massive changes. Finally, end the race with a bang, featuring a final lap that returns you to the original course with new locations for shortcuts, obstacles, Rings, items, and more including randomly spawning Frenzy gates!

Gadget Customization
Personalize your machines with a wide array of gadgets, each with unique effects. As you play the game, you will unlock more gadgets to trick out your ride, letting you create the perfect machine for your racing style.
