HoYoverse has announced that Honkai Star Rail Version 3.2, entitled “Through the Petals in the Land of Repose,” will launch on April 9.

The Honkai Star Rail 3.2 update will introduce players to two new 5-star characters – Castorice (Remembrance) and Anaxa (Erudition). Additionally, to celebrate the second anniversary of the game, a series of special events and rewards await, such as 20 free pulls via daily check-ins, along with claiming one free 5-star character of their choice between Ruan Mei or Luocha.

Castorice (Remembrance)

Central to her arsenal is the Netherwing—a spectral entity forged from millennia of memories and divine authority. This ethereal dragon emerges when Castorice activates her Ultimate, sacrificing its own HP to unleash searing dragonflame upon all enemies. While in play, the Netherwing synchronizes with Castorice to deliver powerful joint attacks, converting HP lost by allies into its own, thereby amplifying both its damage output and Castorice’s.

In critical moments, the Netherwing shields the party by taunting adversaries, only to erupt in a sacrificial blaze when it exits the battlefield. This deals additional damage to enemies and restores HP to allies, reinforcing the team’s resilience.

Castorice has a unique survival mechanic in place. When an ally receives a fatal blow, they enter a near-death state instead of dying immediately. During this critical moment, certain conditions can be fulfilled to revive the character, allowing them to rejoin the battle. Importantly, this ability is active even when Castorice is not part of the team, demonstrating her lasting influence over the fight.

Anaxa (Erudition)

In battle, Anaxa brings a unique combat style, with his attacks randomly applying Weaknesses to enemies. Once these Weakness stacks reach a critical threshold on an enemy, Anaxa can activate Qualitative Disclosure—a powerful state that boosts his damage and enables him to launch a follow-up Skill Attack without expending Skill Points.

His Ultimate ability, Sublimation, applies an impressive 7 Weaknesses to all enemies, instantly enhancing his strategic impact on the battlefield.

Additionally, in the first half of Version 3.2, a special Warp event will debut, featuring simultaneous reruns of the limited 5-star characters Fugue, Jiaoqiu, and Acheron. During the second half, the limited 5-star character “Dr. Ratio” will also return.
