Rainbow Six Siege X Updates
Siege X introduces Dual Front, a new permanent 6v6 mode on the exclusive District map. Players must secure enemy sectors while defending their own, with strategic decisions on time-limited Neutral Sector assignments affecting the match. A curated roster of 35 operators allows for unprecedented combinations of abilities, weapons, and gadgets, offering both accessibility to newcomers and tactical depth for veterans. Regular updates will rotate operators and assignments seasonally.

The update enhances classic maps with improved lighting, 4K textures, and added gameplay features like new destructible elements and fluid rappel navigation. Audio propagation and reverberation are revamped for better tactical intel, while an updated onboarding system, communication wheel, and Pick and Ban system streamline gameplay. R6 ShieldGuard, the comprehensive anti-cheat system, introduces live security updates and improved anti-toxicity measures, fostering a fair and safe gaming environment.
Players can experience the Siege X beta, available until March 19 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Ubisoft Connect. The beta features the full Dual Front mode with 35 operators, previews of Siege X updates like destructible ingredients and rappel upgrades, and custom games.
