Bethesda Southeast Asia has announced a special collaboration with renowned Filipino illustrator John Patrick Gañas, unveiling a new artwork inspired by DOOM: The Dark Ages.
Known for his maximalist and surrealist style, Gañas brings his signature touch to the game’s universe, crafting a piece that features the iconic character standing triumphant over his enemies.

“The piece centers around The Doom Slayer living up to his name as he stands atop his enemies,” shares Gañas. “Atlan and Serrat tower behind, both designed as an extension of the Slayer’s looming, overwhelming silhouette of power.”
The piece is a feast of bold silhouettes, gritty textures, and intricate detail, reminiscent of Gañas’ artistic identity. He adds, “I’m glad I get to revisit my love for maximalism and bold silhouettes with this piece. The gritty tone was the perfect excuse to do as I pleased.”
Fans can expect to see the artwork featured across Bethesda Southeast Asia’s social media platforms and official website, which will be available for download.
