SEGA has revealed the opening animation of Sonic Superstars, the new upcoming Sonic title scheduled to release this Fall for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC.

The opening animation is an exciting sneak peek of the game, including the designs for Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy; the new Emerald Powers; and the setting for the adventure—the Northstar Islands, and more!

In our hands-on preview of the game during Summer Game Fest, we were fascinated with it, saying that “it looks like a blend of the iconic style of the past with a modern touch, which results in a colorful and vibrant world to zoom past.”

The game will also feature a four-player cooperative mode, which will be a first in the history of the series, allowing players to team up with three other players locally.

Sonic Superstars is scheduled to release this Fall for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC.
