HoYoverse has announced that Honkai Star Rail Version 3.4 is launching on July 2, 2025.

This update adds three new playable characters – Phainon, Saber, and Archer – along with new limited-time events, features, and fresh content.

The Fate Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works Collaboration starts from July 11 until the end of Version 3.6.

Honkai Star Rail Version 3.4 New Characters

Phainon

Phainon, a key ally from Aedes Elysiae, finally joins the Trailblazer in Honkai Star Rail Version 3.4. In combat, Phainon builds Coreflames to activate his Ultimate, transforming into a powerful new form and creating a Territory. While transformed, allies leave the field but retain their buffs. He gains new abilities tied to Origination, Calamity, and the Foundation Titans. His Technique can auto-defeat standard enemies without entering combat, and he raises the team’s Technique Point cap, streamlining exploration.

Saber

Saber is a 5-star Wind-type Destruction character whose Ultimate, Excalibur, deals heavy AoE Wind DMG and enhances her Basic ATK to hit all enemies. She builds Core Resonance through combat actions or ally Ultimates. Once full, she gains an extra action, and using her Skill consumes all Resonance, boosts its damage, and fully restores her Ultimate Energy.

Archer

Archer is a Quantum-type Hunt character focused on sustained single-target damage. Activating his Skill enters “Circuit Connection,” letting him repeatedly cast it without ending his turn until all Skill Points are used, and each use increases damage. His Ultimate, Unlimited Blade Works, deals a powerful strike and grants Special Charge. When allies attack, he can consume this Charge for a Follow-up ATK and restore 1 Skill Point.

Version 3.4 features the return of fan-favorite 5-star characters. Tribbie, Sunday, and Sparkle headline the first half, while Firefly, Jingliu, and Blade return in the second, joined by visual updates and long-awaited improvements.
