SEGA has announced that Ichiban Kasuga, the beloved protagonist from the Like a Dragon series, is now available in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds through a free update.

Alongside his arrival, the game will host a special Ichiban Kasuga Festival event, starting November 7, 2025, which will give players the chance to unlock exclusive rewards.

Ichiban Kasuga Joins Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds

Players can now race as Ichiban Kasuga in his bold new machine, the Dragon Brave. The update also adds two iconic tracks from Like a Dragon, plus new songs available in the Jukebox, including:

• Asphodelos
• YUSHA NO KISEKI (Jukebox only)

Ichiban Kasuga Festival Event

From November 7, 2025 (8:00 AM UTC+8) to November 10, 2025 (7:59 AM UTC+8), players can join one of three teams and compete in unique challenges such as performing Touch Boosts or completing special objectives.

By earning Festival Points, racers can unlock exclusive in-game items including:

• New decals
• Special horns
• Festival-exclusive gadgets (available in future updates)

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is now available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC.
