The World of CODE VEIN II
The trailer introduces the lore behind The Resurgence, a mysterious phenomenon that warped existence and gave rise to monstrous Horrors. Revenants once sealed it away, but catastrophic explosions around the sealing Cocoons now threaten humanity once again.
Players take on the role of the protagonist, tasked with shattering the seals and slaying The Resurgence’s Offspring before the world collapses. With companion Lou, the journey spans time, returning to the era of the Heroes who sacrificed themselves to save humanity.

New Characters and Partners
CODE VEIN II expands its cast of Revenants, each with unique personalities and abilities:
- Iris MagMell (voiced by Ai Kakuma): A Revenant from MagMell, supporting the protagonist with research and vampiric enhancements.
- Jadwiga (voiced by Sayaka Oohara): A mysterious merchant who enhances weapons and Jails, aided by her loyal Minions.
Players can choose partners to accompany them, deepening bonds through exploration, requests, and gifting items to unlock special rewards.


Base Facilities and Gameplay Systems
For the first time, Bandai Namco has revealed the game’s base of operations, MagMell. This underground hub offers:
- Jadwiga’s Workshop: Enhance weapons, Jails, and Formae, or imbue them with elemental transformations.
- Shops: Purchase weapons and items using “Haze” earned from defeating enemies.
- Hot Spring: Relax with allies, customize your appearance, and even unlock new synthesis recipes.
- Training Grounds: Spar with Jadwiga’s Minions to hone combat skills.




Vampiric Combat and Jails
CODE VEIN II introduces new vampiric equipment known as Jails, granting Revenants supernatural powers.
Examples include:
- Stinger: A massive scorpion tail that skewers enemies from afar while draining blood.
- Ivy: Steel thorns erupting from the ground to pierce and drain foes, favored by assassins.
