The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) has officially announced the Esports World Cup 2026, also known as EWC 2026, which is scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 6 to August 23, 2026. The tournament will feature an impressive $75 million prize pool.

More than 2,000 players and 200 Clubs from over 100 countries will compete across 25 tournaments spanning 24 games, all culminating in the crowning of the next Esports World Cup Club Champion.

Club Championship: $30 Million Up for Grabs

The flagship EWC Club Championship will distribute $30 million among the top 24 Clubs, with the winning Club taking home $7 million. Prize allocations have increased year on year, ensuring greater rewards for top-performing organizations.

Individual Game Championships will feature combined prize pools exceeding $39 million, while additional awards such as MVP honors and the Jafonso Award will recognize standout performances.

The 2025 Esports World Cup reached 750 million viewers worldwide, with 350 million hours watched and a peak concurrent viewership of 7.98 million during the League of Legends finals. On-site, the event welcomed 3 million visitors over seven weeks, setting the stage for an even bigger spectacle in 2026.
