KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS, in collaboration with Nixxes Software, has officially announced that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will launch on PC on March 19, 2026, with pre-purchase available today via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

A New Strand Adventure

In this standalone sequel, Sam Porter Bridges embarks on a mission to connect Australia to the Chiral Network. Armed with new tools, weapons, and vehicles, Sam must overcome hostile enemies, natural disasters like earthquakes and sandstorms, and the ruinous Timefall to once again fight for humanity’s survival. The Social Strand System returns, allowing players to shape each other’s worlds in meaningful ways.

Enhanced PC Features

The PC edition comes packed with technical upgrades:

• Ultrawide support: 21:9 UltraWidescreen for gameplay and cutscenes, plus 32:9 Super UltraWidescreen for PC, all in 4K resolution.
• Flexible controls: Full mouse and keyboard customization or DualSense controller integration with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
