Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has revealed that Digimon Story Time Stranger will release on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch on July 9, 2026.

The upcoming RPG puts the fate of both the human world and the Digital World in players’ hands, offering a massive roster of over 450 Digimon to tame, bond with, and evolve.

A Journey Across Two Worlds

Players step into the role of an agent of ADAMAS, caught in a world-shattering event that threatens both realms. To save them, players must forge bonds with Digimon, evolve their abilities, and master tactical battles. The adventure spans across worlds, and even through time, making this entry a perfect starting point for RPG fans new to the series.

On Nintendo Switch 2, players can choose between Quality Mode (4K HDR, up to 30 FPS docked; Full HD, up to 30 FPS handheld) and Performance Mode (Full HD, up to 60 FPS docked and handheld).

Digimon Story Time Stranger Editions & Pre-Order Bonuses

Pre-orders are now live for three digital editions of Digimon Story Time Stranger:

• Standard Edition – Base game plus Costume Uniform of a Certain School, Adventure Item Set, Agumon (Black), and Gabumon (Black).
• Deluxe Edition – Includes Standard content plus Costume Cyber Sleuth Set, Season Pass, and Farm Item Golden Moai.
• Ultimate Edition – Adds Costume Pack, extra side missions, early unlocks of special Digimon, Costume Public Safety Suit, Special Supplies Set, and Cyber Sleuth BGM Pack.

Players who pre-order Digimon Story Time Stranger will receive exclusive bonuses, while the Season Pass will deliver three DLC packs post-launch, each adding five Digimon and a new story episode.
