Geoff Keighley has announced that the 7th annual fan-first celebration of video games, Summer Game Fest, will run from June 5–8, 2026, bringing together fans, creators, and industry leaders for four days of announcements, hands-on experiences, and thought leadership.

The Live Kickoff Show

Hosted by Geoff Keighley and produced by the team behind The Game Awards, the Live Kickoff Show takes place on June 5 at 2 PM PT (5 PM ET, 10 PM GMT) at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre. Attendees and viewers can expect world premieres, exclusive gameplay reveals, and major announcements streamed across more than 20 platforms, including YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, X, and Steam. Public ticket sales will open later this spring.

Summer Game Fest: Play Days

From June 6–8, Summer Game Fest: Play Days returns in downtown Los Angeles. Produced by iam8bit, this invite-only event will feature immersive exhibits and hands-on demos from leading publishers and developers. Coverage will be shared by top media outlets and creators across digital and social platforms.

The Game Business Live
