Blizzard Entertainment has announced that fans can expect two days of nonstop esports action at the Anaheim Convention Center on September 12–13, 2026, during BlizzCon 2026.

The event will feature the debut of the Blizzard Classic Cup, returning fan-favorites like the World of Warcraft Arena World Championship (AWC), Mythic Dungeon International (MDI), Overwatch World Cup, and the Hearthstone Masters Tour.

Blizzard Classic Cup: A New Era of Rivalries

The Blizzard Classic Cup is a cross-title showdown spanning Heroes of the Storm, StarCraft: Remastered, StarCraft II, and Warcraft III: Reforged. Legendary casters Nick “Tasteless” Plott and Dan “Artosis” Stemkoski will captain teams, draft players, and even step into the casting booth.

With a $100,000 prize pool and legacy matchups carrying the highest stakes, the Classic Cup promises nostalgia, entertainment, and fierce competition.

WoW Esports: AWC and MDI Return

The Arena World Championship (AWC) and Mythic Dungeon International (MDI) are back in BlizzCon 2026 with expanded formats:
