Amazon Prime Video’s upcoming God of War live-action series has officially cast Sonya Walger (Lost, For All Mankind) in the recurring role of Freya.
According to a report from Variety, she joins series leads Ryan Hurst as Kratos and Callum Vinson as Atreus, further rounding out the Norse pantheon-inspired ensemble.

Who Is Freya in God of War?
According to the official character description, Freya is a Vanir goddess and princess who wields ancient magic. She is Odin’s ex-wife, the former Queen of the Valkyries, and now lives in exile in Midgard, feared by humans as the “Witch of the Woods.”
